ABOUT THIS CAMP
The D3 Academic ID Camp brings the Top Academic Universities to the Bay Area. If you are a player looking to play at the collegiate level while attending some of the Best Academic Universities in the world, this is the camp for you.
Why This Camp?
So many players that are looking to play at these schools have to spend thousands of dollars to meet the coaches and work with these programs at their respective campuses as they make their collegiate decisions. Our hope is to help the families by bringing the universities to you! This will save you time and money, and give you the ability to work with the coaches at all of these schools in one awesome day on the pitch.
Visibility
This camp is hard capped to ensure ample visibility for the players. First, the spots are limited by position so each player is guaranteed to play their most comfortable spot during the camp. Second, each team will have a capacity of players per position, so the players will be guaranteed plenty of playing time. Lastly, the camp is designed so that each player gets equal time in front of every coach in attendance!
We have always felt that many of these camps are over loaded with players. Too often the camp design would leave us as college coaches guessing where the good players would be, and wishing we were in that group or this group. Through conversations with our own athletes, we found that they often echoed those feelings. By limiting the number, and ensuring a good camp design, we can guarantee that each player will meet each coach in attendance and work directly with them throughout the camp.
CAMP LOGISTICS
What are the Two Sections?
To ensure the best visibility for the player and high quality performance, the camp is split into two sections. Each Section functions in a way as its own separate camp with different meeting times, and players should only attend one. The Sections have some overlap to give the athletes time to warm up or cooldown with a staff member, without taking away from time performing in front of the University Coaches.
**For December 2023, we have condensed the camp into one section due to lower than expected registrations. This is great for the players attending as they will get even more opportunities to play for the coaches!

FACILITIES
The camp is held at Shoreline Athletic Fields, less than 10 minutes from San Jose International Airport and less than 30 minutes from San Francisco International Airport.
Just across the street from Google, the facility is in the heart of Silicon Valley and a short drive from a number of great attractions, such as San Francisco City, Levi Stadium (Home of the 49ers), Great America Amusement Park, and more!
